PowerPoint Ministries began on Friday, October 11, 2002 in Orlando, Florida as a one to one discipleship and church
consulting ministry. |
| Mission: |
The mission of PowerPoint Ministries is to make strong disciples of
Jesus Christ. |
| Scope: |
Orlando, Florida and Beyond. |
| Vision: |
To assist the local church in initiating and sustaining a successful
discipleship movement that is distinguished by one to one discipleship and reaches around the world. |
Non-Profit Incorporation
In March 2004, PowerPoint Ministries completed the
non-profit incorporation process and became PowerPoint Ministries, Inc. For us, this step of faith was important
for several reasons as it:
-
Positioned us for growth by providing a sound, responsible, administrative
foundation.
-
Gave us legal authority as a 501c3 non-profit corporation
to provide tax-deductible receipts directly to our donors.
-
Required us to form a board of directors who share our
vision to plan and carry out the mission of starting movements of one to one discipleship across America and around
the world.
-
Provided PowerPoint Ministries credibility with the
business world and our constituents.
Most importantly, it communicates our commitment to represent
Christ in the most professional manner possible as an accountable ministry.
